چکیده
Abstract A mammalian petrosal from the Lower Cretaceous Teete locality in Yakutia (Russia) shows a prominent and complex system of venous channels bony wall pars cochlearis surrounding straight cochlear canal. This is distinctive more strongly developed than other petrosals. ridge present on ventral side canal endocast, continuing between fenestra vestibuli cochleae anterior direction. corresponds to position scala tympani, similar secondary lamina crown therians, but lacks sharp laminar edge. The separate for aquaeductus (derived), retains deep sulcus that resembles perilymphatic (plesiomorphic). oval shaped deep. with eutriconodontans like Priacodon fruitaensis Upper Jurassic North America. However, thick extensive are otherwise known docodontans. In even developed, resemble pattern recently reported possible haramiyidan petrosals Middle western Siberia (Russia). Both eutriconodontan dental remains beside tritylodontids

A New Saurolophine Dinosaur from the Latest Cretaceous of Far Eastern Russia
BACKGROUND Four main dinosaur sites have been investigated in latest cretaceous deposits from the Amur/Heilongjiang Region: Jiayin and Wulaga in China (Yuliangze Formation), Blagoveschensk and Kundur in Russia (Udurchukan Formation). More than 90% of the bones discovered in these localities belong to hollow-crested lambeosaurine saurolophids, but flat-headed saurolophines are also represented: ...
متن کاملLocality from Circuit Lower Bounds
We study the locality of an extension of first-order logic that captures graph queries computable in AC, i.e., by families of polynomial-size constant-depth circuits. The extension considers first-order formulas over relational structures which may use arbitrary numerical predicates in such a way that their truth value is independent of the particular interpretation of the numerical predicates....
متن کاملMicrobiostratigraphy of the Lower Cretaceous strata from South East of Maragheh, NW Iran
For the microbiostratigraphical studies, a stratigraphical section (named Dareh-Goshayesh) has been selected in southeast of Maragheh, Northwestern Iran. The thickness of successions in the selected stratigraphic section is measured about 223.6 m. The mentioned studied stratigraphic section is composed of two clastic and carbonate units. This succession unconformably overlies the Lar Formation ...
متن کاملSome Features of Water Saving in Aporia crataegi L. Caterpillars Inhabiting Areas of Dry Climate in Eastern Siberia (Yakutia, Russia)
Climate in Yakutia is characterized by low winter and hot summer temperatures that cause extreme low air humidity reaching up to 30% in varied periods. Therefore, insects in Yakutia are seasonally faced to extremely dry air that forced them to create special adaptation mechanisms during evolution. Estimation of water balance for Aporia crataegi L. caterpillars was based on measurements of rates...
متن کاملThe pleistocene cave lion , Panthera spelaea ( Carnivora , Felidae ) from Yakutia , Russia
Analysis of skulls and mandibles of the fossil Beringian lion demonstrate that the small lion that inhabited Yakutia (Russia), Alaska (USA), and the Yukon Territory (Canada) is a new subspecies described here as Pu~ltl lcra spelncu z~erc.sl7c-llugirri n. subsp. It differs from the European cave lion P. spelacu (terra typica: Gailenreutl~ Cave, Germany, Late Pleistocene) by its smaller size and ...
